What are private label supplements?
Private label supplements are products made by a manufacturer and sold under your brand. You choose the product, the name, the label and the packaging; the manufacturer formulates, produces, tests and packs it. White label usually means a ready-made product sold as-is under many brands, while private label usually means some customization for you, such as flavor, dose, format or packaging. Custom formulation goes further and builds a new formula from scratch.
At MCM Labs you can start from a market-ready formula, such as creatine, energy and focus, sleep and recovery, immunity, or mushroom and botanical blends, and be in market quickly: once your artwork is approved, our side of a ready-made product typically takes one to two weeks. If you want to change the flavor, dose or format, or build something new, the same team takes it through formulation. You talk to the factory directly, and your brief is read by our chemist, not a broker.

Full-dose 1.5 g Creapure creatine per gummy, or a large-format creatine tablet for a bigger serving.

Caffeine or paraxanthine, L-theanine and B vitamins, with the bitterness masked.

Questions about private label supplements
What is the difference between private label and white label supplements?
White label is a finished, generic product sold under many brands with only the label changed. Private label is made for your brand and usually customized: flavor, dose, format or packaging. Both are faster and cheaper than a ground-up custom formula. We offer both, plus custom development.
Should I choose a stock formula or a custom formula?
Choose a ready-made formula if you want to launch fast, test a market or keep the first order small: you need artwork, not R&D. Choose custom when your product's reason to exist is a formula no one else has. Custom development carries a development fee, part of which is credited toward your first production order.
What is the minimum order for private label supplements?
We work with flexible entry volumes and a clear path to scale. The minimum depends on the format, the formula and the packaging, so send a brief and we will quote a starting run.
How fast can I launch a private label supplement?
On a ready-made formula, about one to two weeks on our side once your label artwork is approved. Packaging you have not ordered yet can add time, so we plan it in the first conversation.
Is private label still profitable?
It can be, if the product has a clear customer and a price that leaves room for marketing. The brands that struggle usually picked a crowded product with nothing different about it. We will tell you honestly if we think your idea needs a sharper angle, and ready-made formulas keep the first investment small while you test it.
