Why choose capsules for a supplement?
Capsules carry almost pure active ingredient. The fill can be close to 100 percent active with very few excipients, the shell hides bitter, earthy or strong-smelling ingredients completely, and there is no heat step to degrade sensitive actives. That makes capsules a natural fit for botanicals, mushrooms such as lion's mane, berberine, ginseng, amino acids and immunity blends.
The trade-off is space: the shell size sets how much fits, so a large dose may need two or three capsules per serving. We help you choose the shell (gelatin or vegetarian HPMC), the size and the serving, fill powders, granules, blends or beadlets to your formula or ours, and bottle and label the finished product. Capsule projects move quickly because a sample and its COA come back almost immediately.

Questions about capsule manufacturing
Should I choose gelatin or vegetarian capsules?
Gelatin capsules are made from animal collagen, cost less and suit most general supplements. Vegetarian HPMC capsules are plant-based, suit vegan and vegetarian products, and hold up well in dry conditions. If your brand promises plant-based, choose HPMC; otherwise gelatin is usually the economical choice.
How much can one capsule hold?
It depends on the capsule size and how dense the powder is. A common size 00 capsule holds roughly 500 to 800 mg of a typical powder. Large doses are usually split across two or three capsules per serving.
Do capsules absorb better than gummies or tablets?
Not automatically. Absorption depends mostly on the ingredient and its form, not on whether it sits in a capsule. What capsules do well is carry a large, nearly pure dose with no taste to mask.
How long does capsule manufacturing take?
Typically 1 to 2 months from approved formula, because there is no cook step and samples come back fast. Packaging lead time is usually the longest part.
