What we collect when you visit this site or send us a brief, what we do with it, and how to ask us about it.
Effective September 16, 2026 · updated the same day to add cookieless website analytics and describe exactly what they record
Who we are
This website, mcm-labs.com, is operated by MCM Labs, a contract manufacturer located at 5260 S Decatur Blvd, Suite 5, Las Vegas, NV 89118. You can reach us about this policy at info@mcm-labs.com or (702) 728-0966.
What we collect
Information you send us. When you use the product-brief form, email us or call us, we receive what you choose to give us: your name, email address, and optionally your company, phone number and social handle, plus the details of your project (format, planned volume, sales channel, audience, goals, stage and your message).
Basic technical information. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically records standard request information when pages are loaded, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use it only to run and secure the site.
Website analytics. We use PostHog to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. It records:
- What happens on the site: which pages are viewed and when you leave them, which buttons and links are clicked (including our email and phone links), how far pages are scrolled, which goal you pick in the product explorer, which of the three paths you choose on the brief form, and whether a product brief is started and sent
- The visit itself: the page address (including any campaign tags in the link), the page or site you came from, and the time
- Your device, in general terms: browser and operating system and their versions, device type, screen and window size, language setting and time zone
- Approximate location: PostHog estimates a general location, such as city and country, from your IP address
It runs in a cookieless mode, so nothing is stored on your device: no cookies, no local storage and no session storage. We do not record your screen, mouse movements or keystrokes, and the name, email address, phone number and brief text you type into our form are never sent to it. To count visits without cookies, PostHog uses your IP address and browser details to calculate an anonymous identifier on its servers. We do not use analytics to identify you, and we do not combine analytics with the details you send us in a brief.
What we do not collect. This site does not use advertising pixels or tracking cookies, and we do not allow third parties to collect information about your browsing across other websites through this site.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and talk with you about your project
- To prepare quotes and proposals, and to manage the work if you become a client
- To keep the site working and secure
- To understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site so we can improve it
- To meet legal obligations
We use the details of your project only to evaluate and work on that project with you. We treat product briefs as confidential. If you would like a signed confidentiality agreement before sharing a formula or other sensitive detail, ask us first.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us run the site and receive your messages: our website host (Vercel), our website analytics provider (PostHog), the form service that delivers product briefs to our inbox (FormSubmit), and our email provider. They may use the information only to provide those services.
- Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights, property or safety.
- A successor business, if MCM Labs is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
Cookies and Do Not Track
This site does not set cookies for analytics or advertising. Our analytics run in a cookieless mode that stores nothing on your device, so there is nothing to opt in or out of here. Because we do not track visitors across websites, we do not change how the site behaves in response to a browser's Do Not Track signal.
Links to other sites, including our customer portal, staff sign-in and MCM Gummies, lead to pages governed by their own policies.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and project correspondence for as long as we need them to respond, to work with you and to keep ordinary business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.
Website analytics records are not tied to your name or email address. We keep them only as long as they are useful for understanding how the site is used, and PostHog stores them for us under its own data retention terms.
Your choices
Email info@mcm-labs.com to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor requests those laws require.
Nevada residents: we do not sell covered information as defined in Nevada law. You may still send a request directing us not to sell it to info@mcm-labs.com.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to this site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date at the top of the page.
